MCED 1.2.1 Release Notes

🔧 What's New in Version 1.2.1

This is a hotfix release to resolve build issues on GitHub Actions.

🐛 Bug Fixes

  • GitHub Actions Build: Fixed build failure on Windows, macOS, and Linux by adding Python 3.11 setup
  • better-sqlite3: Resolved ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'distutils' error during native module compilation

⚠️ Important Notes

  • KubeJS Editor: The KubeJS editor feature is currently experimental and may have bugs or incomplete functionality. Use with caution and please report any issues you encounter.

📦 Installation

Download the appropriate installer for your operating system from the releases page.

Windows

  • NSIS Installer: Minecraft-Config-Editor-1.2.1.exe - Full installer with auto-update support
  • Portable: Minecraft-Config-Editor-Portable-1.2.1.exe - No installation required

macOS

  • Universal: Minecraft-Config-Editor-1.2.1-mac.zip - Supports both Intel and Apple Silicon

Linux

  • AppImage: Minecraft-Config-Editor-1.2.1.AppImage - Universal Linux package
  • Debian/Ubuntu: minecraft-config-editor-desktop_1.2.1_amd64.deb

🔄 Update from 1.2.0

If you're using the NSIS installer version, the app will auto-update. Otherwise, download the new version and install it.
