A recent PR (#239) merged into ufs-community/MPAS-Model adds the SPPT stochastic physics capability. This should become available for rrfs-workflow soon. New namelist options will be needed to enable its functionality in forecasts, as well as variables to control when SPPT should be turned on or off.
