Global Search overlay broken (never appears; non-interactible) with Le Git Graph enabled

Describe the bug
When activating the Global/Repo Search widget, the placeholder disappears until the page is refreshed and the Search overlay never appears.

1. Refresh this page
2. Press "/" or click the search box in top bar of this page.
