<h2 id="project-title"><span data-lang="de">Ein Museum für eine Zeit, in der Museen schlossen.</span><span data-lang="en">A museum for a time when museums closed.</span></h2>

<p><span data-lang="de">open-museum entstand im April 2020 innerhalb von 48 Stunden am #VersusVirus-Hackathon. Aline und Moritz Mähr bauten einen Ort, an dem man sich während der Pandemie gemeinsam durch Kultur bewegen konnte — als räumliche, erzählerische und technische Antwort auf eine Ausnahmesituation.</span><span data-lang="en">open-museum was created in 48 hours during the #VersusVirus hackathon in April 2020. Aline and Moritz Mähr built a place where people could move through culture together during the pandemic — a spatial, narrative and technical response to an exceptional moment.</span></p>
<p><span data-lang="de">Die Ausstellung <em>Spanische Grippe</em> verband historische Quellen aus der Schweiz mit einer begehbaren digitalen Architektur. Besucher:innen navigierten über Räume, Bilder, Texte und — zeitweise — einen Audio-Chat.</span><span data-lang="en">The <em>Spanish Flu</em> exhibition combined historical sources from Switzerland with a walkable digital architecture. Visitors navigated through rooms, images, text and, for a time, an audio chat.</span></p>

<p><span data-lang="de">25 Räume, verbunden wie ein Museum: von Patient 0 und der globalen Verbreitung über den Landesstreik bis zu Kunst, Erinnerung und einem Abschied.</span><span data-lang="en">25 rooms connected like a museum: from patient zero and global spread to the Swiss general strike, art, remembrance and a farewell.</span></p>

<article><span class="room-number">02</span><h3><span data-lang="de">Ausbreitung</span><span data-lang="en">Spread</span></h3><p><span data-lang="de">Historische Texte erklärten H1N1, Infektionswege, militärische Bewegungen und die Ankunft des Virus in der Schweiz.</span><span data-lang="en">Historical texts explored H1N1, transmission, military movement and the virus reaching Switzerland.</span></p></article>
<article><span class="room-number">03</span><h3><span data-lang="de">Gesellschaft</span><span data-lang="en">Society</span></h3><p><span data-lang="de">Anzeigepflicht, Bundesbeiträge, Landesstreik, Erholungszentren und der Alltag der Erkrankten machten die Folgen sichtbar.</span><span data-lang="en">Reporting duties, federal contributions, the general strike, recovery centres and everyday illness made the consequences visible.</span></p></article>
<article><span class="room-number">04</span><h3><span data-lang="de">Erinnerung</span><span data-lang="en">Remembrance</span></h3><p><span data-lang="de">Fotografien, Zeitungsinserate, Postkarten und Selbstbildnisse führten zu Denkmälern, Kunst und dem letzten Raum.</span><span data-lang="en">Photographs, newspaper adverts, postcards and self-portraits led to memorials, art and the final room.</span></p></article>
