<h1>Download Scriptella</h1>
<p class="lede">Scriptella 1.6 is the latest stable release, available from <a href="https://github.com/scriptella/scriptella-etl/releases/tag/scriptella-parent-1.6">GitHub Releases</a> and Maven Central.</p>

<h2 id="version-1-6">Version 1.6 (October 5, 2026)</h2>
<p><strong>Version 1.6 is available.</strong> Java 17 remains the minimum runtime. Scriptella 1.6 adds direct SQL file execution from the command line or Java API, shared environment-variable configuration, and file-backed SQLite support.</p>
<p>Run SQL without an ETL XML wrapper with <code>scriptella.sh execute-sql --url jdbc:postgresql://localhost/app schema.sql</code> or <code>EtlExecutor.newSqlFileExecutor(...)</code>. Property and expression substitution is enabled by default; use <code>--no-substitution</code> when the SQL must remain literal. See the <a href="https://github.com/scriptella/scriptella-etl/blob/scriptella-parent-1.6/docs/cli-usage.md">CLI and credential guidance</a> and <a href="https://github.com/scriptella/scriptella-etl/blob/scriptella-parent-1.6/docs/java-execution.md">Java API examples</a>.</p>
<p>SQLite support covers ordinary file-backed migration workflows with Xerial SQLite JDBC 3.53.4.0 supplied as an external driver. High-precision NUMERIC/REAL values can lose precision; arbitrary numeric migrations are not lossless. See the <a href="https://github.com/scriptella/scriptella-etl/blob/scriptella-parent-1.6/docs/sqlite.md">verified SQLite scope and example</a>.</p>
