wirelog License

wirelog is available under dual licensing:

1. Open Source License: LGPL-3.0-or-later

wirelog is distributed under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 (LGPL-3.0-or-later), or, at your option, any later version (LGPL-3.0-or-later). This matches the per-file license headers included in every public source file (SPDX-License-Identifier: LGPL-3.0-or-later).

This license allows you to:

  • Use wirelog as a library in your applications
  • Modify and distribute modified versions
  • Link wirelog with proprietary software (with conditions)

LGPL-3.0-or-later Conditions Summary:

  • Include a copy of the LGPL-3.0-or-later license with your distribution
  • Document any modifications to wirelog

    • Source code of wirelog modifications (if any)
    • Information on how to link the application with a modified version of wirelog
  • Use of wirelog does not require you to open-source your own application

wirelog uses the following third-party components:

Differential Dataflow MIT/Apache 2.0 Phase 0-3
Meson Build System Apache 2.0 Build-time only

All third-party licenses are compatible with LGPL-3.0-or-later.
