From 3578478aff1cd7140326c598a299b846d824b796 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: pc-gemini Date: Sat, 17 Oct 2026 04:18:44 +0900 Subject: [PATCH 1/4] feat(skill): add time filter parameters to recall, search, and recall-context Add since, until, time_order, owner_timezone, reference_time to recall and search. Add time filters and hypothetical_answer to recall-context. Enforce client-side fail-closed RFC 3339, time_order, and until>since validation. Pass through arguments via formal and temporary credential channels. Update documentation, command usage, golden snapshots, and bump skill to 1.1.42. --- skills/xmemo/CHANGELOG.md | 6 + skills/xmemo/SKILL.md | 14 +- skills/xmemo/scripts/commands/memory.mjs | 6 + skills/xmemo/scripts/lib/auth-state.mjs | 2 +- skills/xmemo/scripts/lib/cli-input.mjs | 69 ++++++++++ skills/xmemo/scripts/lib/core.mjs | 6 +- skills/xmemo/scripts/lib/help.mjs | 6 +- skills/xmemo/scripts/xmemo-skill.mjs | 2 +- test/fixtures/snapshots/auth.json | 6 +- test/fixtures/snapshots/context.json | 2 +- test/fixtures/snapshots/direct-memory.json | 4 +- test/fixtures/snapshots/flags.json | 8 +- test/xmemo-skill.test.js | 7 + test/xmemo-standalone-skill.test.js | 141 +++++++++++++++++++++ 14 files changed, 255 insertions(+), 24 deletions(-) diff --git a/skills/xmemo/CHANGELOG.md b/skills/xmemo/CHANGELOG.md index 889c7fd..15e57e4 100644 --- a/skills/xmemo/CHANGELOG.md +++ b/skills/xmemo/CHANGELOG.md @@ -2,6 +2,12 @@ ## [Unreleased] +## 1.1.42 + +### Added + +- Add RFC 3339 time filters to standalone `recall`, `search`, and `recall-context`, including local timestamp and ordering validation. + ## 1.1.41 ### Added diff --git a/skills/xmemo/SKILL.md b/skills/xmemo/SKILL.md index a147d45..cd3af1a 100644 --- a/skills/xmemo/SKILL.md +++ b/skills/xmemo/SKILL.md @@ -43,16 +43,18 @@ Two parallel integration paths: Recall relevant context before non-trivial work on a project where XMemo is in use; queries are sent to xmemo.dev, so keep secrets and sensitive identifiers out of query text: ```text -node scripts/xmemo-skill.mjs recall --query "" [--limit ] [--expand-documents] [--compact] -node scripts/xmemo-skill.mjs search --query "" [--limit ] [--expand-documents] [--compact] +node scripts/xmemo-skill.mjs recall --query "" [--limit ] [--since ] [--until ] [--time_order ] [--owner_timezone ] [--reference_time ] [--expand-documents] [--compact] +node scripts/xmemo-skill.mjs search --query "" [--limit ] [--since ] [--until ] [--time_order ] [--owner_timezone ] [--reference_time ] [--expand-documents] [--compact] ``` Use `recall-context` to assemble bounded, prompt-ready memory context, optionally including user-owned Knowledge: ```text -node scripts/xmemo-skill.mjs recall-context --query "" [--include_knowledge true] +node scripts/xmemo-skill.mjs recall-context --query "" [--include_knowledge true] [--since ] [--until ] [--time_order ] [--owner_timezone ] [--reference_time ] [--hypothetical_answer ] ``` +Time bounds must use RFC 3339 with `Z` or a numeric timezone offset; when both are supplied, `until` must be later than `since`. `time_order` accepts `desc` or `asc`. Pass +the logical `memory_id` (the `memory_id` field in recall/search `--json` output, +not the row `id`). Terminal output shows each edge kind, the other memory ID, and relationship +version. The JSON response preserves the server body (`contract_version` and +`items`). Results are ordered by ascending `relationship_id`. The cursor is an +exclusive boundary: the endpoint returns rows with a `relationship_id` greater +than the supplied UUID. To request the next page, pass the last returned item's +`relationship_id`; this is a boundary value, not an opaque continuation token. +Terminal output omits `relationship_id`, so use `--json` for manual pagination. +The current endpoint does not return a `next_cursor` field. + +`restore --id --confirm [--reason ]` restores a previously soft-deleted +memory record. The `--id` parameter accepts the same memory ID used by `forget --id` +and returned by `remember`. `--confirm` is required. If the token lacks the +`memory:restore` scope, an authentication hint is shown directing to re-login. + +For formal `recall` and `search`, requests without time filters use the +`POST /v1/skill/operations` envelope. Supplying any time filter routes to the +direct REST read endpoint (`GET /v1/recall` or `GET /v1/memories/search`); +`--json` then prints that endpoint's raw response shape (for example, +`results` and `coverage`) instead of the skill-operation envelope (`ok`, +`operation`, `result`, and `response_budget`). + ## Setup and Repair If the bundled script reports auth or service errors, use the canonical commands diff --git a/skills/xmemo/scripts/commands/memory.mjs b/skills/xmemo/scripts/commands/memory.mjs index 30683cd..b34b86d 100644 --- a/skills/xmemo/scripts/commands/memory.mjs +++ b/skills/xmemo/scripts/commands/memory.mjs @@ -8,6 +8,12 @@ import { } from '../lib/api.mjs'; import { printAuthErrorHint } from '../lib/auth-hint.mjs'; +const RECALL_SEARCH_TIME_FILTER_KEYS = ['since', 'until', 'time_order', 'owner_timezone', 'reference_time']; +const RECALL_SEARCH_QUERY_KEYS = [ + 'query', 'limit', 'threshold', 'path', 'bucket', 'scope', 'team_id', 'memory_type', 'explain', + 'prefer_working', ...RECALL_SEARCH_TIME_FILTER_KEYS, +]; + function reqSuffix(data) { const reqId = extractRequestId(data); return reqId ? ` (request_id: ${reqId})` : ''; @@ -22,6 +28,60 @@ function failRequest(data, statusCode, prefix, options) { process.exit(exitCode); } +function failRelationshipsRequest(data, statusCode, options) { + const knownErrors = { + NotFound: { + code: 'not_found', + message: 'Memory was not found or is not visible.
