A static dashboard for cumulative GitHub Release asset download counts. The SPA is served at the site root and its generated, current dataset is available at /json.
Copy .env.example to .env, set VITE_ANALYTICS_REPOSITORY and a fine-grained read-only PAT, then run:
npm install
npm run devWith VITE_ANALYTICS_REPOSITORY set, the SPA's local debug mode fetches GitHub directly. Vite exposes VITE_* values to the browser, so never use that token in a production build or deployment and never commit .env. npm run collect:local is available when you want to generate a local /json artifact without starting the development server.
Set these repository Actions values:
- Variable
ANALYTICS_REPOSITORY, for exampleDispatcharr/Plugins - Secret
ANALYTICS_GITHUB_TOKEN, a fine-grained PAT with read access to the target repository
Enable GitHub Pages with GitHub Actions as its publishing source. The workflow collects every release page, writes public/json, runs tests and the production build, then deploys the static artifact. It runs daily, on main pushes, and from Run workflow for an immediate refresh.
Only the derived dataset reaches Pages. The PAT is passed solely to the collection step and is excluded from the generated site.
