Application developer apprentice at Sunrise in Switzerland, and the maintainer of openGym, an open-source workout tracker with 16k+ stars that runs on your phone, your wrist and your own server.
I like shipping things people actually use, and I host almost everything I build myself.
Started as a replacement for my own training spreadsheet. Now it's a gym and bodyweight tracker with:
- an iPhone + Apple Watch app in the App Store (every country) and an Android APK with 60k+ downloads
- a self-hostable web app (Docker, passkey login, sync between devices)
- a catalogue of thousands of animated exercises and a muscle map of what you trained
- imports from Strong, Hevy, FitNotes and Apple Health, plus an MCP server and an optional AI coach
I run it as a real project: releases every couple of weeks, 120 contributors, a CLA, a Discord community of 1.9k people and a lot of issue triage. → opengym.ch
| AgentDeck | Browser terminal deck for long-running Claude Code and shell agents. Every session is a tmux session, so it survives closed tabs, dropped VPNs and restarts. |
| attitude | Spatial orientation test for pilot candidates: read the aircraft's attitude, steer with WASD. |
| Homelab | Proxmox box running ~20 apps behind Cloudflare Tunnel: my portfolio, openGym, learning apps for school, monitoring, backups and a smart-plug watchdog that power-cycles the server when it hangs. |
| Client work | Websites for Swiss small businesses, e.g. litho.ch: design, build, hosting and the legal bits. |
