LibreChat-AI/LibreChat#17225 added two
mcpServerskeys that were not documented:oauthPrompt(on_startoron_use) andoauthToolCatalog. Withon_use, an OAuth server asks the user to sign in when the agent first calls one of its tools instead of at turn start.The MCP Servers page now covers both keys in the option table and in their own sections: when each mode prompts, the conditions
on_useneeds (every selected tool deferred, a declared catalog that covers them, an operator-defined server without per-user connection settings), the fallback to the turn-start prompt, and the bounded, strict tool schema the catalog accepts.
