To run OpenTrader, you must have a AMQP server running, usually with the default guest account: see http://rabbitmq.org

You can run OpenTrader and Metatrader on different hosts, if you configure the RabbitMQ section of the DocOTCmd2 ini file, or the configuration parameters when you attach the OTPyTestPikaEA.mq4 EA to a chart in OTMql4AMQP

It may be possible to speed up the round-trip time with OTMql4AMQP by using Rabbit4Mt4.

You can run Metatrader under Wine on Linux, and have OpenTrader under Linux use the standard RabbitMQ that is supplied with your distribution.

OpenTrader also works with ZeroMQ.
