fix(admin): three lows from the v89 pre-deploy review - #107
Conversation
- A request never ends admin sessions. While a change to ADMIN_WALLETS rolls out, a machine still on the old list ended a newly added admin's sessions; it now only refuses them. Ending a removed wallet's sessions for good stays with the boot sweep, which now retries (3 tries, 10 s apart). - Admin actions use their own gate, requireAdminAction(req, wallet): the site's own Origin, a session, and the session's wallet signed it. A missing or malformed wallet is a 400, never let through as a read. requireAdmin(req) is for reads only. - "Approve without fee" waits while the applicant may be paying: under a live fee quote, or in the hour after it while their transfer may still be indexing (the same hour expiry already waits). Checked before the claim and again inside it; the panel shows when it can be waived instead of the button. Applications carry settling_until for that.

…uote A landed burn clears the quote (quote_until included), so with two transfers under one quote the waiver opened while the second was still indexing. Every quote now also records its end in last_quote_until, which a burn never clears; settling_until, the waiver check and the claim use the later of the two. The migration adds the column and backfills it from any live quote.

The backfill only copied live quotes, so an application whose quote a partial burn had cleared before the column existed got no hold. Those now get the latest burn + 30 minutes: a quote ends at most 30 minutes after any transfer sent under it, so that is never before its real end. The column and both backfills move below bb_pair_burns, so a fresh database still migrates.

A burn can be recorded before a quote exists, remain unvalued, and then be revalued after
quoteFeeissues a quote.pairBurnUsdprices that burn at the live price, butvalueBurnstill clearsquote_until. The migration then uses that pre-quote burn time, which can makelast_quote_untilearlier than the quote's real end. The waiver can therefore become available before the original one-hour settlement hold ends.Use a migration-time safety margin for rows whose quote end was already cleared.

A burn recorded before any quote, and valued only after one was issued, still clears the quote, so the latest burn time could fall before the quote's real end. Every quote that exists when the migration runs began before it, so it ends by then + 30 minutes: applications a waiver could still apply to (open, changes) with a burn and no recorded end now wait that long.
What changes
ADMIN_WALLETSrolls out, a machine still on the old list ended a newly added admin's sessions. It now only refuses them. Ending a removed wallet's sessions for good stays with the boot sweep, which now retries (3 tries, 10 s apart).requireAdminAction(req, wallet): the site's own Origin, a session, and the session's wallet signed the action. A missing or malformed wallet is a 400, never let through as a read.requireAdmin(req)is for reads only. All five action routes use it.settling_until.Verified
Known residual
With two transfers under one quote, the first burn clears the quote, so a waiver could land while the second is in flight. Closing it needs a separate column; left for later.
Rollout
No schema change and nothing to set. Ships with the next deploy.
