Summary

Simulate an Open Spoke Pool request before the team proposes it

Adds a fork simulation for a SpokePoolManager request (a new pool, or new markets in a live pool). It checks the request, has the team call proposeRequest, votes the proposal through, and checks the result. It also adds testVipById to the framework for proposals a contract submits itself.

Changes

vip-framework

  • testVipById(description, proposalId, options): votes, queues and executes a proposal already submitted on the fork, sharing testVip's vote/queue/execute steps.
  • reportTxGas, isSafe and estimateProposeViaMultisig are exported. estimateProposeViaMultisig takes the call's target.

simulations/open-spoke-pool

  • Before proposing: the request is pending and approved; its pool and market parameters are ones the comptroller and registry accept; each asset is priced; the seed is held; each loan asset's Hub source is registered and not paused.
  • Proposal: submitted by the manager within the gas cap, with the exact expected action list.
  • After execution: pool, markets, seed split, Hub resource and allowlist state match the request exactly.
  • Behaviour: the deployer can publish supply caps and others can't; the Hub funds the loan market; a new account supplies, borrows and repays; collateral markets can't be borrowed.

Usage

Only FORK_BLOCK and REQUEST_ID change per request. SPOKE_POOL_MANAGER and VENUS_TEAM are placeholders, set once the contracts are deployed.

Testing

  • Until deployment it runs through a local, uncommitted setup that deploys the stack on a bscmainnet fork: 25 passing.
