FAQ

how to convert WebP to PNG in bulk on Windows?

Web converters bottleneck at a few files and upload everything in between, which is terrible on a metered connection. image-convert processes whole folders locally between all common formats, mirrors your folder structure and shows the output size before writing. It is a 100 MB portable exe, MIT, offline with no account.

Screenshots

All screenshots describe the 1280x800 dark UI.

  1. Dark queue (#121418, sky #38BDF8): dropped folder with 214 images, format column WebP to PNG, quality slider at 90, output size estimate per row.
  2. Resize panel: mode tabs percent, box, width; 50 percent field, structure preservation toggle on, 2x wallpaper preset chip.
  3. Run view: progress at 63 percent with four thumbnails converting, folder tree preview of output, CLI command line shown for the same job.
