Closes: #2124

Description

This PR adds ToolRouter to src/assets/marketplace/mcps.yml. The entry goes in alphabetical order between time and verodat. It uses the existing schema.

ToolRouter is the OpenRouter for tools. One MCP connection gives an agent a hosted catalog of specialist tools for web search, scraping, image and video generation, SEO, finance, property and compliance. The agent finds a tool with discover and runs it with use_tool. The full catalog uses approximately 9,000 tokens of context. Free tools work immediately. Paid tools are billed per call.

The entry has one install option: "Remote Server" with the Streamable HTTP endpoint https://api.toolrouter.com/mcp. Free tools work without sign-in. Sign-in uses OAuth in the client. The entry has no API key parameter, so there is no optional header that can break.

This PR supersedes #1516. That PR closed because of inactivity. CodeRabbit found that its "Remote Server with API Key" option made a broken configuration when the user gave no key. This PR removes that option and the NPX option. The fix for the finding is that the entry has only the remote connection.

Test Procedure

  1. Parse mcps.yml with a YAML parser. The parse succeeds.
  2. Find the toolrouter item. It is between time and verodat. There is only one toolrouter item.
  3. Parse the content value of the item as JSON. The parse succeeds.
  4. Run git diff. The diff adds 22 lines. It does not change other lines.

Explanation

The description includes the linked issue, change summary, test procedure, checklist, documentation impact, and additional notes. The missing Get in Touch section is non-critical, and the unchecked testing item is explained by the data-only change.

Full details: Linked Issues check

Explanation

Issue #2124 requests a ToolRouter MCP marketplace entry. The PR adds one toolrouter entry to src/assets/marketplace/mcps.yml in the stated alphabetical position. The entry uses the existing schema and provides the Streamable HTTP endpoint https://api.toolrouter.com/mcp. Its description covers the hosted specialist-tool catalog, discover and use_tool, catalog context, free tools, and per-call billing. The entry also identifies the MIT source, website, documentation, Humanleap publisher, and registry name. It has no API-key or NPX option, which addresses the superseded configuration issue.

Full details: Out of Scope Changes check

Explanation

The available PR evidence reports 22 added lines in src/assets/marketplace/mcps.yml and no changed existing lines. The change adds only the requested ToolRouter marketplace declaration. The remote-only connection option and its JSON content support the linked issue and do not add unrelated behavior.

Full details: Regression Evidence

Explanation

PASS. The pull request changes only src/assets/marketplace/mcps.yml and adds one declarative marketplace entry. The existing ConfigLoader parses this file and validates MCP entries through the existing schema. This is mechanical configuration, not new executable behavior or a UI component change, so focused regression tests and a Playwright snapshot are not required by this check.

Full details: Security Boundaries

Explanation

PASS. The pull request changes only src/assets/marketplace/mcps.yml and adds a fixed https://api.toolrouter.com/mcp Streamable HTTP marketplace entry. The entry contains no credentials, secret placeholders, PII, executable command, environment variables, or user-controlled interpolation. It uses the existing marketplace loader and MCP URL validation path. No changed path leaks secrets or PII, executes unvalidated input, or bypasses approval or allowlist controls.

Full details: Persistence Integrity

Explanation

PASS — The pull request changes only the marketplace YAML asset. It adds one static ToolRouter remote-server entry with a JSON endpoint and no persisted state, write operation, default, rollback path, or asynchronous persistence operation. The changed entry is between time and verodat; no changed persistence path exists.

Full details: Lifecycle Resource Cleanup

Explanation

PASS: The pull request changes only src/assets/marketplace/mcps.yml. The added toolrouter entry contains static metadata and one Streamable HTTP URL. It adds no listener, watcher, provider, timer, task, cancellation, disposal, or restart path. Therefore, no changed lifecycle resource can leak or duplicate work.

Correct the billing and workflow claims in the description.

The text says usage is “billed per call,” but free tools work immediately and only paid tools use per-call billing. The MCP surface also exposes discover and use_tool, and the catalog is about 9,000 tokens. Update the description to match the linked issue and the documented behavior. (github.com)

Add the missing ToolRouter domain tags.

The requested catalog covers finance, property, and compliance, but the tag list omits all three. Add finance, property, and compliance to keep the marketplace metadata aligned with the requested domains.
