Docs for ansibleforms/ansibleforms#1318 and ansibleforms/ansibleforms#1319, shipping in 7.6.0: a credential's user and password can be written to a secret store on Save.

  • Secret stores: a new Writing credentials section, two rows in the status table, and the seed keys (write_enabled, write_prefix, pvwa_*, platform_id).
  • HashiCorp Vault: Writing credentials, covering Allow writing, the write prefix (a mount alone allows the whole mount) and the token's read, create and update capabilities, with a policy example.
  • CyberArk: Writing credentials through the PVWA, covering the safes, the PVWA address, its credential, the logon method and the platform. The page stays marked experimental.
  • Credentials: the Store step's Point to a key and Write to a key, and what the Login step asks with each.

Every change is in all 11 languages, using the app's own labels, and the translations are stamped.

Stacked on #233 (same credentials page): merge #233 first, then this one, when 7.6.0 is released.
