CAP Java 4.9.x compiles against Spring Boot **3.5.16**, the latest publicly available Spring Boot 3.x version. As Spring Boot 3.x has reached end of life, no further public security patches are available.

If you require continued Spring Boot 3.x security patches, you can obtain enterprise support directly from [Spring Boot](https://enterprise.spring.io/lts-releases). For SAP-internal usage those patches are available.

We recommend to migrate to CAP Java **5.2.0**, which uses Spring Boot 4.x and continues to receive regular updates.
