Why

The Docs MCP server's implementation bundles turned out to be out-of-date copies of these pages. The MCP now builds each bundle from the pages themselves: the integration guide plus the platform's AI reference (llms) page. So these pages are the single source for what AI coding agents get. While checking them against the latest kits, I found several pages that were out of date or wrong.

Page fixes, against the latest releases

  • ui-kit/ios/getting-started:
    • Install 5.2.3 with Swift Package Manager (Up to Next Major). The kit's Package.swift resolves CometChatSDK 4.1.10+ itself, so it's no longer pinned by hand.
    • Minimum iOS is 15.1.
    • The page said pod 'CometChatUIKitSwift', '5.1.22', but CocoaPods stops at 5.1.18, so that install failed. The page now says new releases ship through SPM only.
  • ui-kit/ios/message-list: the type is MessageListAlignment with .standard / .leftAligned. The page said MessageAlignment / .left, which doesn't compile. hideAvatar is Bool?, default nil (hidden in 1:1 chats).
  • ui-kit/android/getting-started*, calling-integration, call-features:
    • chatuikit-*-android 6.1.1 (was 6.0.6 / 6.0.3) and calls-sdk-android 5.0.4 (was 5.0.1).
    • New warning on the Jetpack page: 6.1.1 crashes on Compose 1.7 (NoSuchMethodError: LazyColumn), so pin compose-bom 2025.06.00 or newer. Reproduced on an emulator.
  • ui-kit/angular/components/cometchat-message-list: MessageListAlignment and MessageBubbleAlignment are numeric enums. The examples bound strings ('left'); they now bind the enum.
  • mcp-server.mdx: the bundle table now says which pages each bundle is built from, and adds angular-uikit-quickstart.
  • CODEOWNERS: the default-owner line was - @swapnil-cometchat. GitHub reads - as a path, so nobody was requested by default. It's now * @jitvarpatil.

Earlier commits on this branch added an mcp-bundles/ folder; it's removed again, so the net diff is the page fixes above.

Notes

  • Found while checking the moderation pages: the Add Rule schema names isKeywordReferencePresent, but its examples use isKeywordsReferencePresent. Not changed here.

…roid and Angular pages

The Docs MCP server's implementation bundles were hand-written files in
the MCP repo, untouched since April: they pinned old kit majors and used
removed components (the Flutter one installs flutter_chat_ui_kit and
cometchat_chat_uikit ^5). They now live here, in mcp-bundles/, and the
MCP index build serves them, so a merged change is live within ~10 min.

- mcp-bundles/: the 11 bundles rewritten for the latest kits (React 7.2.4,
React Native 5.5.2, Angular 5.2.2 (new), Flutter 6.2.0, Android 6.1.1,
iOS 5.2.3, JS SDK 4.2.1, plus moderation, widget, presence, multi-tenant),
each compiled or run against the latest release; README; removed-apis.json
- .github/scripts/check-mcp-bundles.mjs + workflow: fails a bundle whose
pinned package is behind its latest release, whose body and frontmatter
versions differ, whose code uses a removed API, whose last_verified is
over 90 days old, or whose docs link no longer resolves; weekly run
  opens an issue
- .mintignore/.mintlifyignore: keep mcp-bundles/ off the site
- iOS getting-started: 5.2.3 via SPM (Up to Next Major), CometChatSDK
resolved by the kit, iOS 15.1+; CocoaPods tops out at 5.1.18
- iOS message-list: MessageListAlignment (.standard/.leftAligned), hideAvatar Bool?
- Android: chatuikit-*-android 6.1.1, calls-sdk-android 5.0.4; Compose 1.8 BOM
warning (6.1.1 crashes on Compose 1.7)
- Angular message-list: MessageListAlignment/MessageBubbleAlignment are numeric enums

Bundles reach AI coding agents within ~10 minutes of a merge to main, so
mcp-bundles/ and its check get an explicit owner. The default-owner line
started with "- ", which GitHub reads as a path, so nobody was ever
requested by default; it is now "* @swapnil-cometchat".

Bundles no longer live here. The Docs MCP now compiles each bundle from
the existing pages (integration guide + the platform's llms page), so the
pages are the single source and the copies in mcp-bundles/ would only
drift. Removed mcp-bundles/, its check and workflow, the ignore entries
and the bundle CODEOWNERS lines. Kept the page fixes and the default-owner
fix. mcp-server.mdx now says which pages each bundle is built from.
