Hi, I'm Greg

Software engineer by day — Java, Spring Boot, enterprise financial systems. After hours I build things I'm curious about: audio tools, systems programming from scratch, workflow automation. Based in Metro Columbus, OH.

Everything I build goes through gig — a workflow system I built for Claude Code. Gather decisions, implement in batches, govern quality. Two approval gates, zero decision fatigue. It's how I turn AI into reliable, governed output instead of vibe coding.

What I'm Working On

  • bitwig-extensions — Programmable control for Bitwig Studio — JSON-RPC API, CLI, WebSocket streaming, and interactive docs. Java.
  • audio-visuals — Real-time audio visualization with 10 modes, multi-layer compositing, and beat-reactive rendering. Kotlin + Compose Desktop.
  • code-challenges — From-scratch Unix tools, network servers, and parsers. Kotlin + GraalVM native images.
