Principal software engineer in Islamabad, working remotely with US companies since 2021. These days I build self-hosted AI agent platforms: MCP servers, local-model inference on consumer GPUs and the connectors that let agents work with people's own data.
I'm at Companion Intelligence. Before that I built AI agents on ElizaOS at Eliza Labs. At Napster I built the identity platform and NLP pipelines. From 2021 to 2024 I was an engineering manager on the open-source Ethereal Engine.
- Companion Hub: local runtime for self-hosted apps, models and agents. I built its MCP endpoint and much of its Windows support. I also packaged Hermes Agent and OpenClaw for its marketplace.
- CI-Portal (private): Companion Intelligence's cloud control plane on Cloudflare Workers. I built custom domains and Stripe billing.
- iR Engine, formerly Ethereal Engine: open-source multiplayer 3D engine. I managed three engineers, led the Feathers.js upgrade and led the multi-tenancy rework for its hosted version.
- iR Engine Launcher: Electron app that runs the engine's full Kubernetes stack on Windows and Linux, downloaded 9,000+ times.
- smart-agents: computer-use agent service that gives each session its own Docker desktop, with a FastAPI backend, VNC and a React UI.
- hermes-ollama-native: native Ollama adapter for Hermes Agent, so local models get the context size you set.
- Markdown Mermaid Zoom and PGlite Explorer: VS Code extensions with about 6,300 installs between them.
