Hi, I'm Himanshu Patro

Software Engineer | Open Source Contributor | AI & Developer Infrastructure

I'm a Computer Science & IT graduate from SOA University who enjoys working on problems at the intersection of software engineering, AI, and developer tooling.

Over the past few months, I've been going deeper into open source — not just building side projects, but reading unfamiliar production codebases, tracing execution paths, debugging real issues, writing regression tests, and shipping fixes through pull requests.

I'm particularly interested in AI-powered developer tools, code intelligence, backend systems, and production engineering.

Currently

  • Contributing to open-source developer tools and AI infrastructure
  • Exploring AI Engineering, Developer Infrastructure, and System Design
  • Working with production codebases across TypeScript, Go, Python, and JavaScript
  • Looking to contribute more deeply to open-source-first engineering teams
