Bumps the pinned Node version from 24.21.0 to 24.22.1 to pick up the fixes from the October 21, 2026 Node.js security release.

The 24.x line is affected by four high-severity CVEs:

It also fixes several medium/low-severity CVEs and updates c-ares, OpenSSL, undici and the CA store.

Changes

  • .nvmrc: Render reads this file for the native build
  • Dockerfile: node:24.22.1-slim base image
  • Dockerfile.e2e: NodeSource nodejs=24.22.1-1nodesource1

I confirmed that the node:24.22.1-slim tag and the NodeSource 24.22.1 .deb are both published.

Not changed

  • Desktop (Electron 43.7.7): Electron bundles its own Node, and no Electron release includes 24.22.1 yet (the newest, 44.9.3, ships 24.22.0). This needs a separate bump once Electron publishes one.
  • CI workflows: these use node-version: "24", which floats to the latest 24.x. They only run builds and tests, not production code.

Hotfix off v10.25.0 (supersedes #2187, same change re-applied as a signed commit).

Picks up the fixes from the 2026-10-21 Node.js security release, which
includes several high-severity issues on the 24.x line (TLS certificate
hostname bypasses, a Brotli decoder out-of-bounds write).
