smutils - some utils

this repository contains some utility binaries for linux that i wrote for learning purposes.

im writing this project in C because its the language im currently learning.

my goal wasnt to create a real linux utility suite, but to understand how these tools work (e.g. gnu coreutils, bsd base utilities, etc.).

i know the code isnt the best, but ill improve it as i learn more.

installing

if you want to try my project, follow these instructions:

1. clone the repository

   from github:

   git clone https://github.com/larcoverde/smutils

   codeberg repository is no longer maintened, soon it will be back

2. compile and install

   cd smutils
   sudo make install

3. run

   for example:

   smu-help
