Summary

Paths: profile/README.md, STATE.md.

  • Adds a "New: OpenAMRobot 2.0 with OpenArm 2.0" block directly under the title and intro. It has one sentence (open-source mobile base, 350 mm lift, two OpenArm 2.0 arms, one URDF with MoveIt and Gazebo) and this link line:
  • No image: docs/media/hero.png does not exist on openamr-upperbody-sw main (a8c304d8a6335c479e56f20e32675d2d87144a50, no docs/media/ directory).
  • Replaces every "approved in principle" lift phrase (the bullet, two tree entries, two table rows) with two separate statements: the combined model including the lift is implemented and verified in simulation; physical hardware build and acceptance are in progress. The lift specifications and "release gates still open" are unchanged. The second commit leaves this wording as it is.
  • Links https://github.com/enactic/openarm at the first OpenArm mention, which is in the new block. The PR mentions no partnership or cooperation, and calls nothing official or certified.
  • decisions.yaml is unchanged. The LIFT register wording ("lift approved in principle") goes into a separate contract change request.

Work package

None filed: this is a direct task from the project lead on the org profile text.

Integration Gate

No overlapping open PR touches profile/README.md; #78 touches decisions.yaml only. The block reuses existing link targets (openamr-upperbody-sw, docs.openamrobot.ai, botshare.ai). Rejected: adding an image that does not exist on main.

Tests

No behaviour change: this PR edits Markdown text only, so no new test. Existing suites were run unchanged on the current head: rollout/verify.sh executed 289 of 289 tests, 0 skipped.

Safety impact

None. This PR changes text only. It touches no safety path.

STATE.md

Updated: the Current work row records #81, the four links and the separate contract change request for the LIFT register wording.

Not verified

  • https://docs.openamrobot.ai/assets/roadmap/robot.html, https://docs.openamrobot.ai/assets/roadmap/ and https://botshare.ai/openamrobot?utm_source=github&utm_medium=org#products: neither host is in the agent session's allowed network domains, so none of these URLs loaded and the #products anchor is unchecked.
  • https://github.com/openAMRobot/openamr-upperbody-sw: a public git clone works, but no browser render was checked.
  • That the combined model is verified in simulation: the task states this, and it was not re-run here.
  • Register consistency: decisions.yaml LIFT still says "lift approved in principle". This is left for a separate contract change request.

AI disclosure

Claude Code (Anthropic) wrote the README and STATE.md edits, ran the checks and wrote this description. Pending review by the work-package owner (adopt, adapt or reject).

Add a "New: OpenAMRobot 2.0 with OpenArm 2.0" block under the intro with
three links (model, roadmap, packages). No image: docs/media/hero.png is
absent on openamr-upperbody-sw main (a8c304d).

Replace "approved in principle" lift wording with: the combined model
including the lift is implemented and verified in simulation; physical
hardware build and acceptance are in progress. Link enactic/openarm at
the first OpenArm mention. STATE.md records the work.

Replace the link line with four links: Explore the 3D model (roadmap
robot.html), Combined model (URDF, MoveIt, Gazebo), See the roadmap, and
Pre-order and packages. Lift wording and decisions.yaml unchanged.
STATE.md updated.

Focused COMMENT review on profile PR #81, exact head 952f3ce36e3c4fe6aa770e9233d5afc82d8a4721, base a9e229e (repository openAMRobot/.github, branch claude/bold-franklin-qu0f6i). Expected outcome: check the new public links, model wording and required adoption gates; not approval or publication authorization.

The core wording is appropriately scoped in one respect: merged upperbody #29 provides simulated/mock lift control, the lift and both_arms MoveIt groups, while the physical lift interface and release gates remain separate. The new profile text does not claim physical validation. The in-force LIFT decision still reads "approved in principle"; the proposed follow-up contract/register decision must be handled by its owner, not assumed completed in this Markdown PR.

Two publication/adoption checks remain:

  1. The new Explore the 3D model link resolves publicly to https://docs.openamrobot.ai/assets/roadmap/robot.html, but the currently served page still says "Snapshot 24 Oct 2026" and describes the combined model as draft PR #14, with the full simulation work still to be fixed/merged. That public destination is older than the 2 Nov "implemented and verified in simulation" profile claim. Please coordinate a current published page with the docs owner or explicitly label the viewer as an older design/illustration; do not let the CTA imply the 24 Oct text documents current acceptance. The roadmap/pre-order destinations and the #products anchor were not independently verified.
  2. AGENTS.md says agent-authored PRs remain draft until the work-package owner writes adopt, adapt or reject in the thread. This AI-authored PR is currently ready/non-draft, and its PR thread contains no owner adoption. Please have the owner record their disposition and preserve that gate; the direct-task statement in the PR body does not replace a recorded adoption.

Evidence: inspected the complete two-file patch, the current profile/STATE, canonical shared rules, LIFT register, merged upperbody #29 description and earlier PR discussion (none). Hosted exact-head repository-quality run 41515862953 inspected, with quality/test reporting 289 executed, 0 skipped, PASS; license/cla status is success. CI passing the static public extract does not validate link destinations or owner adoption. NOT RUN by reviewer: local ROS, Gazebo, Isaac Sim, physical lift, or the author's full local verification command. This is a COMMENT, not approval, merge, register change or a legal attestation.

Owner disposition: adopt, as the project lead and work-package owner for the org profile text.

@panthera-momagdii on your two points:

  1. The 3D model link: docs decisions: head camera 42 mm forward and baseline pitch 30 degrees, second E-stop on the static lift column (P-03 rev20.0) #68 publishes the 2 Nov snapshot of robot.html and the roadmap. This PR is merged only after decisions: head camera 42 mm forward and baseline pitch 30 degrees, second E-stop on the static lift column (P-03 rev20.0) #68 is merged and deployed, so the link never points to the 24 Oct text.
  2. Adoption gate: recorded here.

The LIFT register wording stays a separate contract change request, as the PR body says. The STATE.md conflict with main is resolved (both Current work rows kept).

Re-reviewed #81 at exact head 3ec22b3b7500000a57bf398400a1a943389c5430. Approved for the profile/STATE wording scope.

The two points from my earlier comment are now dispositioned: @BotshareAI recorded adopt as project lead/work-package owner, and the PR explicitly keeps publication order behind docs #68 so the 3D-model link is updated before this profile change is published. The current PR patch against main remains limited to profile/README.md and STATE.md; the text clearly separates simulation verification from physical hardware build/acceptance and leaves the LIFT register wording to its separate contract-change process.

Hosted exact-head Repository quality is green: checker tests, decisions validation, governance/public checks and ROS verifier smoke all succeed; CLA status is success. This approval does not approve the LIFT register change, physical lift, or the current contents of docs #68. Keep #81 ordered after #68 is corrected, merged and deployed as stated in the owner comment.

Final check before merge (owner): the four links load. Explore the 3D model and See the roadmap now show the 2 Nov 2026 snapshot (openamrobot-docs #68, #70 and #71 merged and deployed), so the earlier concern about the 24 Oct page is resolved. The combined model repo loads, and the pre-order link reaches the #products section. The adoption decision was recorded above; the LIFT register wording remains a separate contract change request. Merging.
