Parcel App Delivery Tracker

A Home Assistant integration that pulls your active deliveries from Parcel App and exposes them as a sensor with full delivery detail attributes — plus a bundled Lovelace dashboard card, so one install gives you both the data and the UI.

A Parcel App premium subscription is required for API access (see their website for pricing). This integration is not affiliated with Parcel App — just built by a passionate user who wanted to track their deliveries in Home Assistant.

Features

• Polls automatically every 5 minutes

Requirements

• Parcel App account with an API key (In the Parcel App: Settings → Integrations → API)

Installation via HACS

1. In HACS, go to the three-dot menu → Custom repositories
2. Add https://github.com/petergCA/parcelapp with category Integration
3. Click Install on the Parcel App Delivery Tracker entry
4. Restart Home Assistant
5. Go to Settings → Devices & Services → Add Integration and search for Parcel App
6. Enter your API key and choose a filter mode

Manual Installation

1. Download the latest release and unzip
2. Copy the parcelapp/ folder into /config/custom_components/
3. Restart Home Assistant
4. Go to Settings → Devices & Services → Add Integration and search for Parcel App
5. Enter your API key and choose a filter mode

Sensor Attributes

The sensor.parcel_deliveries state is the count of packages. The full data is in the deliveries attribute — a list of objects, one per package:

Bundled Dashboard Card

The integration ships with the ParcelApp Card — a Lovelace card with carrier icons, delivery timeline, and tap-to-expand event history. It is served at /parcelapp/parcelapp_card.js and registered as a dashboard resource automatically on startup (storage-mode dashboards; YAML-mode users add the resource manually). No separate install needed.

Upgrading from the standalone card? If you previously installed parcelapp_card via HACS, remove it there (HACS also removes its resource entry) — the bundled card replaces it.

If the dashboard shows "Custom element doesn't exist: parcelapp-card", make sure you are on v0.2.1 or later (v0.2.0 failed to register the card resource on Home Assistant 2026.7+), restart Home Assistant, and hard-refresh the browser (Ctrl/Cmd+Shift+R).
