runpod/flash#387 and runpod/flash#388 set a hard deprecation date for
runpod-flash: October 29, 2026. After that date the package gets no fixes or updates. The CLI and SDK now print a notice that links to/sdk/migrate-from-flash.Per review feedback in Slack, the explicit date now appears in only two places, so a date change needs only two edits:
flash/overview.mdx: the banner gives the October 29, 2026 deprecation date.release-notes.mdx: the Flash deprecation entry gives the bold deprecation date, following the release notes format.Every other page links to the Flash overview for the date instead of repeating it:
sdk/migrate-from-flash.mdx: the opening note, "Do you need to migrate?", and the renamed "Flash deprecation timeline" section link to the overview for the date. A new "Deprecation notice" subsection covers the CLI notice on stderr, theFutureWarningon import, why deployed workers don't show it, and how to silence it withRUNPOD_FLASH_SILENCE_DEPRECATION=1. The notice first shipped inrunpod-flash1.21.0 (chore: release 1.21.0 flash#386). The DOCS-504 TODO for the still-unannounced repository archive date stays.flash/troubleshooting.mdx: a new "Deprecation notice" entry quotes the date-free opening of the message, links to the overview for the date, and explains how to silence it.Review feedback applied: Lavanya Gunreddi asked in Slack to keep the date only in the overview banner and the release notes and have other pages point to the overview. This revision applies that. No human commits were on the branch, so none were overwritten.
