livekit-agents' STT.recognize() calls _recognize_impl(buffer, language=..., conn_options=...), but the plugin did not accept conn_options, so every batch recognition raised TypeError before reaching the service. AudioBuffer may also be a single AudioFrame, which was iterated as if it were a list. Accept conn_options and wrap a single frame in a list. The previously silenced mypy errors (override, union-attr) are gone. A new test goes through the public recognize() API with a single frame; it fails on the old code with the TypeError above. This PR mergesfix/recognize-conn-optionsintomaster; the merge was clean.pyproject.toml,version.py, CHANGELOG (Unreleased→0.3.0 - 2026-10-22).
