Summary

This pins TinyEventQueues v0.2.3 and fixes main's two red static checks. The pin fixes the static:module-boundaries failure that main has had since #8412:

FORBIDDEN [tinyeventqueues-bus] tinyeventqueues-bus -> tinystoragedrivers-types

The boundary check resolves each *-bus contract in its own workspace. It accepts tinystoragedrivers-types only from crates.io or from a full 40-character git rev.

  • v0.2.2 pinned tinystoragedrivers by the short rev bf1f0a9, so the check rejected it.
  • v0.2.3 (tinyeventqueues#15) pins the full rev 29471a164619bcec03e5858a7d7ee0c65f52bf22, which is the same tinystoragedrivers as vendor/tinystoragedrivers. Apart from that, the release only changes version numbers.

Changes

  • Record: records_eventqueues.rs now has version 0.2.3, the new release URL, and the 16 archive names and digests. Each digest is the GitHub release asset digest, and all 16 match the release's checksum.toml.
  • Gitlink: vendor/tinyeventqueues moves from b2165be to 34c23ef (the v0.2.3 tag commit). This is a forward move.
  • Lockfiles: tinyeventqueues and tinyeventqueues-bus go from 0.2.2 to 0.2.3 in the root lock, and tinyeventqueues-bus does the same in the app lock. Nothing else changes.

Checks

Run on a remote host at fe31d57, compared against main fd63b94:

  • cargo metadata --locked passes for the root and app locks, and leaves the tree clean.
  • static:module-boundaries: main has 1 violation, this branch has 0, so the failure is fixed.
  • static:module-pins and static:submodule-monotonic pass. The only gitlink that moves is vendor/tinyeventqueues, and it moves forward.
  • cargo test -p openhuman --lib (product features, run after install-test-modules): 104 passed, 0 failed. That includes modules::registry 24/24, modules::event_queues 1/1 and inbound:: 72/72.
  • cargo fmt --all --check passes.

Also: gated-test allowlist

static:gated-test-allowlist is red on main fd63b94. #8412 gated the STT block of channels/host/voice_tests.rs on the voice feature but did not add the file to EXPECTED in scripts/ci/check-gated-test-allowlist.sh. This PR adds that entry.

The gate only compiles out voice-only STT tests when voice is off. It carries no ungated assertion of the #5022 class, so the gate-contract filters don't need extending. Earlier allowlist additions such as 90f5eb1 were list-only too.

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • Chores
    • Updated the bundled event-queue component to version 0.2.3. Supported platforms and asset formats remain unchanged.
  • Tests
    • Updated automated checks to account for the voice test suite.

v0.2.2 pinned tinystoragedrivers by the short rev bf1f0a9, which
static:module-boundaries rejects for the tinyeventqueues-bus contract
(tinystoragedrivers-types must come from a full 40-hex git rev):
FORBIDDEN [tinyeventqueues-bus] tinyeventqueues-bus -> tinystoragedrivers-types.
v0.2.3 (tinyeventqueues#15) pins the full rev 29471a1, the same
tinystoragedrivers as vendor/tinystoragedrivers; it is otherwise
version-only.

Record (16 archives, GitHub digests == checksum.toml), gitlink at the
v0.2.3 tag commit 34c23ef, and the tinyeventqueues/-bus lock versions.

Full summary

Pull request purpose (title): chore(modules): pin TinyEventQueues v0.2.3; fix module-boundaries and gated-test allowlist. The pull request titled "chore(modules): pin TinyEventQueues v0.2.3; fix module-boundaries and gated-test allowlist" is a version-pin chore that bumps the pinned tinyeventqueues module from 0.2.2 to 0.2.3 in the module registry record, updates the release URL and per-platform archive names and SHA-256 digests, and adds a single entry to the CI gated-test allowlist. According to the description, the pin also fixes main's module-boundaries failure caused by a short git rev in v0.2.2, moves the vendor gitlink forward, and updates lockfiles. No lane reported a defect in the changed files, and the only changed files reviewed in the supplied diff are crates/openhuman-core/src/modules/registry/records_eventqueues.rs and scripts/ci/check-gated-test-allowlist.sh. Test execution is not independently confirmed by trusted check evidence in the provided material; the description's claims about test runs are asserted, not verified here.

Completeness: Complete
Test assessment: Test coverage is assessed from changed tests and lane evidence; execution is not claimed without trusted check data.

What changed

The registry record at crates/openhuman-core/src/modules/registry/records_eventqueues.rs updates the tinyeventqueues module's version from 0.2.2 to 0.2.3, its release_url to the v0.2.3 tag, and all 16 per-platform archive filenames and SHA-256 digests to 0.2.3-specific values. The CI script scripts/ci/check-gated-test-allowlist.sh adds channels/host/voice_tests.rs to the EXPECTED allowlist, addressing a gated-test allowlist check that was red on main. Per the whole-pull-request description, the change also moves the vendor/tinyeventqueues gitlink forward to 34c23ef and updates tinyeventqueues and tinyeventqueues-bus versions in Cargo.lock and crates/openhuman-app/Cargo.lock; those lockfile and gitlink deltas were not part of the reviewed diff supplied here.

Features

  • Modified — tinyeventqueues module registry record bumped to 0.2.3: The registry record now pins version 0.2.3 with the corresponding release URL and per-platform archive names and SHA-256 digests, so module resolution uses the 0.2.3 artifacts rather than 0.2.2. The description states the new pin includes a full 40-character git rev for tinystoragedrivers, which is what resolves the module-boundaries violation observed on main. (crates/openhuman-core/src/modules/registry/records_eventqueues.rs, crates/openhuman-core/src/modules/registry/records_eventqueues.rs pub(crate) const TINYEVENTQUEUES: ModuleRecord = ModuleRecord {)

Tests

  • allowlist policy entry — The changed allowlist entry permits channels/host/voice_tests.rs in the CI gated-test allowlist when its STT tests are compiled out with the voice feature disabled; no test file itself was modified in the reviewed diff.: The tests lane is answered with zero findings but states it has no testable defect to report from this diff: the repository's registry_release_manifest_tests.rs is a compiled-in expected table outside this diff, and the digest values cannot be independently verified from the diff alone. (scripts/ci/check-gated-test-allowlist.sh, scripts/ci/check-gated-test-allowlist.sh agent/queued_turn_tests.rs, crates/openhuman-core/src/modules/registry/records_eventqueues.rs)
  • pinned digest update — All 16 archive SHA-256 digests and archive names are rewritten to 0.2.3 values in the registry record.: The tests lane reports no testable defect and notes the digest values cannot be independently verified from the diff; confirming the new digests match the actual 0.2.3 artifacts requires the release manifest or checksum.toml, which is outside this diff. No test claim is confirmed by trusted evidence here. (crates/openhuman-core/src/modules/registry/records_eventqueues.rs, crates/openhuman-core/src/modules/registry/records_eventqueues.rs pub(crate) const TINYEVENTQUEUES: ModuleRecord = ModuleRecord {)

tests

  • Conclusion: Success
  • Scope reviewed: all assigned evidence
  • Positive: The tests lane is answered with zero findings; it describes the change as internally consistent and identifies the digest values and registry_release_manifest_tests.rs expected-table confirmation as outside this diff.
  • Lane summary: This change bumps the pinned tinyeventqueues module from 0.2.2 to 0.2.3 (version strings, release URL, and every per-platform archive name and SHA-256 digest) and adds one entry to the CI gated-test allowlist. The registry pins are exactly the kind of change the repository's release-manifest test is designed to catch — a renamed interface or stale digest fails a test rather than the first call — but that test (registry_release_manifest_tests.rs) is a compiled-in expected table, not part of this diff, and no test file was changed here. Because the allowlist addition is a CI policy entry and the digest values cannot be independently verified from the diff, I have no testable defect to report; the change looks internally consistent, and confirming the new digests match the actual 0.2.3 artifacts requires the release manifest, which is outside this diff. _The code index is behind this pull request (indexed at `3578b40100a2`), so retrieved context may be out of date._

description

  • Conclusion: Success
  • Scope reviewed: all assigned evidence
  • Lane summary: This is a version-pin chore: it bumps the tinyeventqueues record, release URL and 16 archive digests to 0.2.3, moves the vendor gitlink forward, updates the two lockfiles, and adds channels/host/voice_tests.rs to the gated-test allowlist so the previously red static:gated-test-allowlist check passes (the file does declare #[path = "voice_tests.rs"] at channels/host/voice.rs). The diff is consistent with the description — the only substantive change to code is the allowlist entry, which matches what the gate script computes. Nothing in the visible diff misbehaves or contradicts the stated intent; the bits I could not verify (the gitlink move, the lockfile deltas and the 16 digests against the release's checksum.toml) were not shown to me, but nothing in what was shown is wrong. _The code index is behind this pull request (indexed at `3578b40100a2`), so retrieved context may be out of date._

tinyhumansai#8412 gated the STT block of channels/host/voice_tests.rs on the voice
feature without adding the file to the gated-test allowlist, so
static:gated-test-allowlist is red on main. The gate only compiles out
voice-only STT tests when voice is off; it carries no ungated assertion,
so the gate-contract filters need no extension.
