Summary

Main's rust-core-coverage product-suites step doesn't compile. The errors were hidden behind earlier compile failures (key_source, shell_live, embed).

  • E0433, tests/raw_coverage_all.rs:61 and tests/inbound_linked_e2e.rs:51: openhuman_core::storage::MemoryStorage is no longer re-exported. The fix installs tinystoragedrivers_testkit::MemoryBackend instead, the same in-memory backend the core's own tests use (storage_host_tests.rs). It is added as an openhuman-cli dev-dependency at the rev the core already pins (one-line Cargo.lock change).
  • E0308 ×2, tests/raw_coverage/inference_local_controllers_rpc_e2e.rs:219,473: core::all::all_registered_controllers now returns Vec<ControllerEntry>. The fix adds entry/call_entry helpers that look up and invoke core-registry entries via ControllerEntry::invoke. The local-inference controllers keep using the RegisteredController helpers.

Test-only; no product code changes.

Test plan

  • Red/green on cuttlefish: cargo test --no-run -p openhuman-cli --test raw_coverage_all with the core product features. RED on main 26fd9f8, GREEN on this head.
  • Product-suites build (cargo check --tests, keep going past errors) on the split-10 set plus this PR.

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • Tests
    • End-to-end tests now use an in-memory storage backend for inbound links and additional test scenarios.
    • Controller tests now exercise invocation through core registry entries, while local-runtime controller checks continue through their existing path. This maintains coverage across both controller access paths.

…ontroller registry

Main removed the `openhuman_core::storage::MemoryStorage` re-export, and
`core::all::all_registered_controllers` now returns `ControllerEntry`s, so
`raw_coverage_all` (and `inbound_linked_e2e`) stopped compiling:

- E0433 tests/raw_coverage_all.rs:61, tests/inbound_linked_e2e.rs:51: install
the testkit `MemoryBackend` the core's own tests use, via a new
  `tinystoragedrivers-testkit` dev-dependency of openhuman-cli (same rev).
- E0308 tests/raw_coverage/inference_local_controllers_rpc_e2e.rs:219,473:
look up and invoke core-registry entries through `ControllerEntry::invoke`.

What changed

A `matches!` expression is reflowed by formatting. No product code is touched.

Features

  • Added — tinystoragedrivers-testkit dev-dependency for openhuman-cli: Makes the testkit's in-memory host storage backend available to the crate's integration tests, pinned to the rev the core already pins. (crates/openhuman-cli/Cargo.toml tinyinference-llm = { path = "../../vendor/tinyagents/vendor/tinyinference/crate)
  • Internal refactor — entry/call_entry helpers for ControllerEntry: Lets the RPC test look up and invoke core-registry entries, which are now `ControllerEntry` values, keeping the same `DispatchCtx::process_default()` invoke path, while local-inference controllers continue through the `RegisteredController` helpers. (tests/raw_coverage/inference_local_controllers_rpc_e2e.rs use std::path::{Path, PathBuf};, tests/raw_coverage/inference_local_controllers_rpc_e2e.rs async fn call(controller: &RegisteredController, params: Value) -> Result<Value,)

Tests

  • modification — The local-inference wire-method pinning test resolves controllers through `entry` instead of the old `controller` helper, so it asserts `rpc_method_name()` against the expected wire names on `ControllerEntry` values.: Adapts an existing assertion to the new registry type; not executed or verified by any lane in this review. (tests/raw_coverage/inference_local_controllers_rpc_e2e.rs fn local_inference_controllers_pin_their_registered_wire_method_names() {)

critique

  • Conclusion: Success
  • Scope reviewed: all assigned evidence
  • Lane summary: The change migrates this suite's lookups from the legacy `RegisteredController` helpers to the new `ControllerEntry` registry (`entry`/`call_entry`), keeping the same invoke path via `DispatchCtx::process_default()`. No behaviour regresses and no repository rule is broken; the only cosmetic noise is a reflowed `matches!` expression, which is not reportable. _The code index is behind this pull request (indexed at `03ebe1710247`), so retrieved context may be out of date._

security

  • Conclusion: Success
  • Scope reviewed: all assigned evidence
  • Lane summary: This is a test-only change: it moves the inference local-controller suite onto the core registry's `ControllerEntry` API (adding `entry`/`call_entry` helpers and switching the wire-name and agent_chat_simple assertions to `invoke`), plus a rustfmt reflow. No untrusted input, no auth or permission change, no new network or subprocess call, no dependency change. The helpers match the `ControllerEntry` definition (`schema`, `invoke`), so the code compiles as written. _The code index is behind this pull request (indexed at `03ebe1710247`), so retrieved context may be out of date._

tests

  • Conclusion: Neutral
  • Scope reviewed: all assigned evidence
  • Lane summary: No behavioural change: nothing outside documentation, configuration and tests.

description

  • Conclusion: Success
  • Scope reviewed: all assigned evidence
  • Positive: Description lane answered and found the PR description accurately covers both fixes, the new dev-dependency and the test-only scope, with no defects.
  • Lane summary: The description matches the diff: it accurately states that the two E2E tests now install `tinystoragedrivers_testkit::MemoryBackend` instead of the removed `openhuman_core::storage::MemoryStorage` (with the dev-dependency added), and that `ControllerEntry` helpers were added for the core registry while local-inference controllers keep the `RegisteredController` helpers. Both changes are test-only and the description says so. I found nothing the diff does that the description omits or misstates. _The code index is behind this pull request (indexed at `03ebe1710247`), so retrieved context may be out of date._

📝 Walkthrough

The PR adds the storage test kit as a CLI dev-dependency and uses its in-memory backend in two tests. Selected controller RPC tests now look up and invoke core-registry ControllerEntry values. Existing local-runtime controller tests continue to use RegisteredController.

Changes: Storage test backend

Layer / File(s) Summary
Testkit backend setup
crates/openhuman-cli/Cargo.toml, tests/inbound_linked_e2e.rs, tests/raw_coverage_all.rs
The CLI adds tinystoragedrivers-testkit at the matching tinystoragedrivers revision. Two test setups install its MemoryBackend instead of MemoryStorage.

Controller registry tests

Layer / File(s) Summary
Core entry invocation
tests/raw_coverage/inference_local_controllers_rpc_e2e.rs
The tests add helpers to find and invoke core-registry ControllerEntry values. The wire-method checks and selected agent_chat_simple cases use the helpers. The existing local-runtime exclusion assertion is reformatted without changing its condition.

Then finds an entry by its name.
It calls the core registry,
